Rd 5 Draw

First named team has the HGA:

Liverpool Rams v Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs
16th v 9th The Hedgies should get over the struggling Rams.

Blackpool Bunnies v Nottingham Hoods
11th v 10th - Contender for Match of the round - Draw has not been kind to the Hoods accounting for their position. With Captain Macrae in strong form should be a win for the Hoods here.

Manchester Magic v Oxford Lions
8th v 13th - Magic have been running a little hot and cold lately but if the hot magic turn up at home should get the chocolates. However any slip and the Lions will be waiting to maul.

Leeds Leeches v Bradford Badgers
14th v 3rd - Badgers should get the win here. Leeches have the home advantage and will be looking to turn their season around especially if Captain Oliver can rediscover form. Badgers should win but an upset will not surprise.

Swansea Breakers v Grope Lane Giants
15th v 6th - Giants midfield should be too strong for the Breakers here and should record a comfortable win.

Wrexham Knights v Winchester Werewolves
7th v 5th - Another contender for match of the round. Clash of the Captains Dangerfield v Cripps could well decide the outcome. Wolves were disappointing last week falling out of the Top 4 since I do not when and will want to restore faith.
Wolves would be favourite. However with a strong home crowd behind them Knights urging them on but favour the Wolves

Hastings Hurricanes v Huddersfield Hawks
2nd v 12th Hurricane should be the winner here although Hawks if on form could cause an upset.

Staines Steins v Birmingham Dragons
1st v 4th - Yet another contender for match of the round. Steins have been in great from over the last 2 weeks but if Dragons big guns fire they can match the Steins.  However think Steins at home will prevail.

As we have a Thursday night start and an early game on Friday the following rules will apply as partial lock out will be in playuntil full lock out occurs

Team to be lodged in UF by bounce on Thursday (Teams locked in UF at bounce of first game of the round).
Teams to also be lodged in this thread and players from Pies and Lions will be locked at bounce on Thursday night
Captain and Vice Captain will be locked at bounce. Players from Roos and Bombers will be locked at bounce of the game on Friday afternoon.
Remaining players will be locked at bounce of Eagles and Power Game.

As we also have a Monday game you can name 6 emergencies in order of preference.

Changes to teams allowed but must be done in this thread so UF can be adjusted.

No loopholing will be allowed though.

Remember also to name the 6 emergencies in your post as well as failing to name will result players allocatted from your priority list.

Best of luck and feel free to start the banter

ALSO REMEMBER ANY CHANGES TO TEAM USE QUOTE OR START NEW THREAD This will assist in ensuring we have latest team.

Also to help admin it would be appreciated if you could update your teams in UF before Thursday lockout.

We won't even know Sunday benches before the bounce of the first game Friday, dunno how I feel about the full lockout coming into effect then.

Taking up Niges point with the Roos Bombers game Starting at 4:20pm and Sunday benches not finalised till midway through this game do we extend lockout to start of Eagles/ Port Game locking Bombers/Roos players at bounce of their game.

Other option is to allow  6 emergencies to be named.

Or alternatively no change so feel free to comment.

Please read the OP to note change for this week.

Basically changes are:
Pies/Lions and Cap and VC locked at bounce of Pies Game on Thursday Night
Roos/Bombers Players locked at bounce of that game Friday Night
Balance of Team locked at bounce of Eagles Power Game Friday Night

As we also have a Monday game you can name up to 6 emergencies in preferential order.
