I wish I could have done something about being a mid down.

But I just can't :(

*well, if I was online when Daniel Lloyd was a late inclusion for GWS, I'd have moved him in the forward line and put Mundy in the mids, but that doesn't count*
Will cancel out our playing Waterman if we had know Saints would name Hind.

Just a suggestion for next year

This round really needs to allow 4 emergencies

I had 3 players play last week that I can't use now, because I had to predict who might be playing a week later

I'm not sure what loopholing has to do with this?

We're expected to name our side, when 6 teams haven't even named their AFL sides and aren't playing for another week so having a 4th emergency seems like a pretty reasonable thing to do seeing as we have no idea what players from those 6 sides will actually be named

You chose to loophole. You would’ve had 15 if you named your team with 15 starters/probable starters on field and 3 playing/probably playing emergencies. Risk/reward. Your risk didn’t pay off.

And even when you reply saying how you wouldn’t have because that’s what you do, luck plays a part too.

I do think it’s interesting however that the Rep game gets 4 emergencies and this round only gets 3 seeing as they run very similarly.

This is the point

The fact I loopholed shouldn't deter my suggestion - yeah I've been burnt now but it still doesn't take anything away from this suggestion. The round is spread over 2 weeks, so having a 4th option is a more than reasonable request, and if it happens in Rep Round then why does it not happen in this round when they are identical in terms of how they are setup and spread?

4 emg this round is a no brainer

Just needs to be consistent, that's all. The choice you made to waste two of your 18 spots on guys you knew weren't playing makes the donut entirely your fault.

4th emergency in rep round is purely to increase the chances of representation from all clubs

Also, it's an 'event', distinctly different to an ordinary WXV week. Calls of consistency are not relevant here.

Not once have I said it's not my fault or anything similar

9 times out of 10 I'll do the same loopholing and it will work fine - this was just a rare occurrence where it's backfired and I am completely fine with copping the donut

My problem is, the round is stretched over 2 AFL rounds so we had to name a team without having any idea what this weeks 6 teams that didn't play last week squads looked like, so for that reason having a 4th emg is a more than fair way to compensate for that
