This looks the most even round, good luck tipping!

Not far off finals now, how are our injuries?

Stevie J captain of the Lambs against like his worst team.

Always whether to name Hale/Bailey/Other isn't looking great

Hale named - 13 DT at QT
Bailey not named - 27 dt at QT

Though only 1 quarter in so plenty of time for Hale ton :)

192 points - a good effort but looking more and more like tommy ten lynch' 220+ will be the season high...

Interesting...
Stevie J captain of the Lambs against like his worst team.

Don't think it's that bad a selection. He's one of the highest averaging SB players this year, playing way more midfield this year, and has gone 150+ DT (like 200+ SC) after every break he's had so far this year. I'm confident he will do well. Priddis there to back him up as well.
Title: Re: AXVS: ROUND 18 GAME CENTRE
Post by: Nails on July 26, 2013, 10:59:02 PM
Montagna has been gun and was lock in captain but I managed to drop him from captain for his worst game of the year.

Best move I made all season lol. That was his game a couple weeks ago against whoever it was where he only got like 65 DT.

Disappointed with Stants tbh. Lambs win as a result.

You cannot seriously be sooking or fearing defeat after this start? 595 from 3 + VC...... really

Post by: Nails on July 27, 2013, 10:27:17 AM
595 from 3 + vc is nice most weeks...

But not against the Lambs. That's below par. I need to go bigger and better. Things like Stants VC will cost you against the mighty lambs.

Hey, we went 2099 not last week the week before vs the Folders!! And 1968 the week before! ;)

We weren't too flash last week, thanks to Thompson & ROK (C) being subbed out :P

i forgot the 2099

but the other 3 were under 2000 :)

still good yeah but just saying, there was a run you had with every score over 2000 and often well over 2000.

Post by: Nails on July 27, 2013, 11:47:23 AM
If we win this week vs. the Lambs everyone in the top 8 should fear us imo.

With Pav coming back, Bartel coming back amongst others

Defeated the Folders when they were 1st on the ladder then beat them again as well. Both times away. Now if we beat the Lambs...

be afraid.

Nails left Scotland out of the team. :o I know he was in horrible form (he's in my DT, though only bench cover now), but you've still gotta back in one of the best scoring defender over the last decade nearly.

Great cover for Hanley so far. :D

Oh.

I was getting excited about Scotland. Didn't realise he wasn't in my team.

He has been in the worst form out of all my defenders and got dropped as a result. flowering typical.

McLean dropped from EXVs this week
Scotland dropped from AXVs and would have been dropped if I had more than 4 defenders in WXVs

Lake smashed an 84 last night too. Dropped in EXVs as well.

Really Scotland probably got dropped for Tambling

Tambling will probably be sub, just you watch.

FMAXVs. It's flowering stupid. He has been useless

Last 3 rounds DT -

Grimes - 90, 94, 76 - 86.66 average
MacKenzie - 95, 90, 54 - 79.66 average
Newman - 41, 76, 84 - 67 average
Tambling - 56 & 100 - Only his 100 recent. 78 average.
Scotland - 64, 60, 47 - 57 average

Scotland was dropped for either Tambling or MacKenzie probably... Newman was iffy too.

But you can see why Scotland was dropped. He's really rubbing it in though. I thought he was done tbh. Past it.

Now he flowers me in the most important match for our season. Fingers crosed Tambling/Newman/MacKenzie late withdrawal.

I thought about making Scotland a utility too...

Yep, you called it. Seriously though, even at Scotland's absolute worst he's still a 60+ DT score (which is around 80 SB). Tambling is just a pure spud.
Title: Re: AXVS: ROUND 18 GAME CENTRE
Post by: Nails on July 27, 2013, 05:47:29 PM
At he's absolute worst? "60+"

64, 60 and 47 in his last 3... only 1 above 60.

All the other players were in BETTER form. Minimum of +10PPG DT. Therefore all like +15 PPG in SB.

Can't really say it was a bad choice.

If he plays like he's past and he looks like he's past it, he must be past it. (if he quacks like a duck theory)

Players do go from gun to shower and with a top score of 79 DT since round 8... you couldn't really have seen this. We just got flowered by Tambling though.

Tambling was one of their best players last week and didn't start sub last week. The fact he's starting sub this week is a clear sign Adelaide are tanking.

Steve Johnson - 34 DT - Lambs' captain

Leigh Montagna - 55 DT - Dongs' captain (55 DT includes a goal too)

Stevie J so many CHEAP possessions that quarter. Didn't earn anything just got BS

Montagna started on fire but went quiet.

Captaincy watch:

Steve Johnson - 63 DT
Leigh Montagna - 78 DT

Montagna was up by 37 DT at one point. It was SJ - 38 to Montagna - 75. Then SJ cheap possies happened and Montagna disappeared :(

Steve Johnson - cheapest half of football I have EVER seen. I thought Swan was cheap.

If he earned his possessions I'd say fair enough and take it in stride. But he just played the cheapest half of football I have ever seen. All CHEAP uncontested football. Didn't earn his own ball once. Jones was doing so well on him too. What the flower happened. flower YOU Johnson.

Montagna at least earned his possies getting in and under.

So pissed.

Montagna was winning 75 to 38 DT at one point. 109 to 109 DT is such bs. Johnson will probably be 15-20 SB up too as more goals.

Joel Selwood is an absolute jet, in some crazy good form. Another ripper score as captain. 8)

Nat Fyfe with a huge score, 4 goals should boost his SB massively.

Bears on track for another 2000+ score. Should be 2100+ if it weren't for Nick Riewoldt's injury and McEvoy being a spud.

Have a look at Stevie's SC score/advanced stats on the AFL match center Nailer...

Johnson (117 SC, 15 CP, 15 UCP, 3M, 0CM, 1G)

vs

Montagna (124 SC, 14 CP, 24 UCP, 3M, O CM, 1 G)

So, dunno how Stevie had the "biggest, easiest possession half" where he "didn't earn a single possesion" when he had more contested possessions than Montagna, along with a pretty even SC score... ;)

Elephants are in it to be sure to be sure..

A poor sub vest for Macrae :-[  It has been real tough to name a squad each week with so many youngsters stepping up! Guys like Hombsch, Talia, Wallis, Kennedy, Macrae, Pittard, Butcher, Yeo, Toumpas keep putting their names up, some in and out of the side as we look to find our best line-up

Cameron did his best for the Llamas ;D  But I think this one is over with Chad "The Boss" Captain a little down today and now Jack Mac in Green, thought we were a silly chance over night :P

Possibly some of those names at the top could be up for trade bait :o   No not Bennedy 8) Or JackMac and Jimmy the Gun ;)

Tigers + Hartlett, Griffen (C), Deledio (VC), Dusty + HGA.
Elephants 35 points + Rance, Redden, Wines, Boak, Green, Scooter (VC)
flower  :o

Rance and how Green goes is going to determine who wins.
Yep.
Redden, Boak and Wines on fire for you while Hartlett is doing well for me.

I need Wines to cancel out Hartlett. Rance is the big key, him getting 190 against Sydney would seal it lol

Well I go away for the weekend, and look at what the boys manage to pull out! In for another huge score here, we are hitting some decent form.

Yep you going away influenced their scoring  ::)

He never even implied that. No need to be a flowering White Goodman jb. He's saying he went away and it's nice to come back to a huge score.

Was no need to be a toss pot  jb.

I hate that bullshower... J. Brown 0.001 seconds from marking the ball.

Umpire gives a down field free kick due to kicker being taken out after kicking it. Just give J. Brown the mark

cost me 4 points in AXVs.

Shhhh JB. You were the one being a White Goodman attacking BB for absolutely no reason. He made an observation. Oooo a fanfooty member made an accurate observation, better be a White Goodman and and attack him for it.

Didn't realise losing to Dongs = decent form.

There is some implication there.

And there was a difference, you can clearly tell I was joking with bb. You were just being a tosser.

1,539 from 10 + C + VC

Montagna was leading 75 DT to 38 DT vs. Stevie J at one point. Cue the biggest, easiest possession half by Stevie J ever. He didn't earn a single possesion. Montagna captain vs. Stevie J captain was going to make up for Tambling sub ::)

EME3: Player -  Josh Hill (F)

927 from 6 + C

First week ever we dropped Scotland... Cost us 132 points. 166 vs 34. If we lose because Scotland had his first good game of the season...

Tambling also killed it when on field and was best on field in the match last week. The fact he was sub is an absolute joke. Adelaide FC should be ashamed. They are a joke.

To be honest looks like playing MacKenzie/Tambling over Scotland will cost us at this point I reckon.

Gia sub hurts huge. Priddis lifting last 10 minutes too :(

Nice win Lambs. Lucky for us there's no HGA in finals.

I don't think you can call it too strange tbh.

Yeah I agree... Can all it flowering insane though! Bling is a spud of the highest order and Scotland is one of the best back premiums of the last few years. #TrustYourPremiums

Premiums aren't premiums forever. He had a high score of 79 since round 8.

You need to have watched Tambling in the pre-season and last week. He was best on ground last week and did kill it when on field last night too.

+1

Gotta have faith in your premos, especially with defenders as they are so unpredictable lately. But to be fair, it's easy to say all this in hindsight.

Still, I wouldn't have ever benched Scotto myself. :-\

ive benched scotto in SC for the last three weeks , brought him off the bench this week for hanley :)

he has been in shocking form. HE MIGHT BE BACK - he better be for my SC future with an extra premo in def already no trades to waste on hanley...

back to AXVS i'll update todays games so far scores now and by the time i am finished i'll start updating the last game scores.
Title: Re: AXVS: ROUND 18 GAME CENTRE

That's the things... "gotta back in your premos"

What gives him premo status? He's like a 33yo who isn't a premo anymore. Players get to a point where they're not good anymore and it had looked like Scotland was at that point.

He had a high score of 93 in DT this season.

I don't see where this "premo" is prior to this week to be honest.

The Bears are on fire. That's what happens when we get close to our best team on the park (excluding Waters who is gone for the season), we should start consistently going 2000+ now.

That 2133 includes NRoo injured, Moloney injured and Tuck subbed at 3QT. Could have got the record score easy.

ladder is up - one round to go, the top 4 will be the top 4 but the order is uncertain.

likewise the other 4 teams in the top 8 will be the only ones who can be in the top 8 but who gets which spot is very much up for grabs.

the rest of us have one round left to gain as respectable ladder position as possible to end the 2013 season.
