Yeah I am surprised the Doggies haven't tried to exploit our lack of talls in defence.
Can't wait to see Newman play, hope his presence doesn't mess the forward structures up.
Wondering if Sinkers will be used down back this week at all,he played there in the WAFL for a few games to be used there if we need him to.

Saw "Forgotten Eagle Returns" with a small picture and thought it was Mackenzie..

Ruined my day when I clicked on the article and it turned out to be Murray Newman  :-\

West Coast really went into the game with nothing to lose. The only way they can lose a home final is a shock loss to St Kilda next week. I respect the young saints team and don't mean to doubt them but it will be nearly impossible for such a young and inexperienced side to pull off at the Subi.

Adelaide had more significantly more to gain from the win and I think they went into the game with the intention to play harder than the Eagles (also there oversized forward line would have been tough for an already incredibly undersized defence - don't think the Eagle were willing to take any risks with their already diminished numbers down the back).

Expect the Eagles to bounce back and go into their match-up with Hawthorn in form

Freo fans must be worshiping the Crows right now  :P
