2014 AF Elxam Champ; Dublin are pie

« on: December 16, 2015, 01:52:59 PM »

Feel like this deserves it's own post because it's questioned quite heavily. That and i can't remember the last thread it was asked in :P

Was kinda hoping it was a bit more to it than that, but there you go

Also this on some questionable ones

Champion Data AFL ‏@championdata
@FootyProphet Z.Merrett 42% forward, Montagna 37%, Sheed 35%.
Griffen 32% defence.

Nice to know man. So 35% is the magic number

So basically, Joey lines up at CHF and then charges into the square but because he started there it counts as forward

Seems a little flawed, but at least they've given an explanation

Thanks Rico.   Clears that up.   Just need to convince coaches to start players in back or fwd or mid depending on our SC needs.       Can you confirm this is not where they are named but where they line up?

Wow great post ! i don't usually read twitter feeds ect so probably wouldn't have seen this otherwise, it's
nice to have a definitive answer rather than speculation on this, cheers Rico.
