Competition has no meaning without a team from Blackpool :)

Can you make up some more rules that result in forfeiting your team for the week and only getting 500 points :P

Maybe if I think hard enough. These are just all the things I've seen Torp do at various stages through different competitions, that's why I listed them down ;D

*cough* wildcard entries *cough*
If teams don't wish to participate I'll start going down the ladder and grabbing whoever is next :) Had one team declining entry, from Euros :(

Just waiting on one manager to get back to me, as some teams have pulled out. Then I can set a date for the Group Draw. Probably looking at Sunday of Round 1 at this stage, not sure exactly. It'll be at night though, that's what I do know.

Champions League Draw
How it will work
 - There will be 8 groups of 4 teams drawn
 - Each group will contain 1 team from each of the 4 competitions.
 - The teams are seeded from 1 to 8 based on their finishing positions in their respective comps last season (bar the CL winners Iceland who are first).
 - Each group will contain a 1-2 seed, 3-4 seed, 5-6 seed, 7-8 seed.

The Proposed Multiplier
Worlds: 1.00
Euros: 1.00
British: 0.61
Asians: 0.74

Last season we had: 1, 1.024, 0.6284 and 0.7460. When looking at the total points scored across the CL group stages, everything with those multipliers worked out to be pretty even (Euros outscored Worlds without the multiplier amazingly). So just a few tweaks to those numbers is the plan. Any major objections do speak up soon.

So the first bit is relatively straight forward. All of the 8 top seeded sides chucked into random.org, and the order which they appear is the order of the groups they are in.

Group AGroup BGroup CGroup DGroup EGroup FGroup GGroup H
Winchester WerewolvesHungarian HulksAustralia AlesRio de Janeiro JaguarsIceland Polar BearsKuala Lumpar CrocodilesOxford OwlsNew Delhi Tigers

Now we get onto the slow part. Again the teams available to into random.org, and the top named side is the one that joins the group :)

Group A has already got a British side in it, so the other 6 teams with 3 or 4 seeds go in the pot

Mexico City Suns join Group A.
