St Kilda press conference at 2pm where Nick Reiwoldt will confirm he is retiring at the end of the season

Absolute legend of the game

That mark in Sydney, coupled with Commetti's words will always be the first thing I remember of with Rooey

Legend one of those guys who could keep going but probably good that he stepped down. Hope his body fully recovers, for the rest of his life.

Great Player and wishing all the best shoukd he retire as expected.

Would have been a Lion if the AFL did not change the recruiting zone from 100kn to 50km.

Massive loss to not only the Saints but the AFL as a whole, was hoping he had one more year in him :'(

Wish him nothing but the best for whatever comes next.

Would have been a Lion if the AFL did not change the recruiting zone from 100kn to 50km.
Still say the AFL jibbed us on this one :-X

This is what I'm trying to work out, how is Rooey a legend of the game and Pridda not?  ;)

Well done Nick "Rooey" Riewoldt on a great career.  :)

Champion on and off the field.
St.Kilda has had an abundance of all time greats throughout it's history.
Will wait patiently for the next one to arrive.... it will be the first time in my life where I haven't had one to watch and enjoy.
Barker- Lockett- Harvey- Riewoldt- ?
Was too young for the Doc and Ian Stewart.
Thanks for the memories Rooey and hope that body holds up okay in retirement.

Gave his all, loved watching him play. One of those players you wish was in your team.
