Viv was a gun :( we'll be lucky to get a pick in the 100s for Balic of he's the measure :D

Hearing that Carlton, Melbourne and Hawthorn are interested.

I dont mind a straight swap for Declan Mountford from North Melbourne.  Both aged 20, both played a handful of games, both similar players.

One has come out and said he wants to go, the other hasnt. I suspect you'll get a third rounder for him unfortunately mate

Ele.  I agree that we would probably only get a 3rd (maybe late 2nd round) pick.  I was just saying a straight swap that I think works.

Yeah that'd be ideal for Freo, but I dont think North would come to the party realistically given the circumstances.

But I agree that that would be fair!

We'll take him I guess but not exactly what we're looking for

Yeah it's a bit like that.

Still, could do worse with a third rounder (no way should he cost a 2nd rounder)

Make no mistake, this kid can play.He will be a very good pick up for a Melbourne based club.To compare him to Viv Michie is an insult to Balic.
Michie was full of his own self importance whilst at Fremantle. He thought he was better than he was.I think his failed move to a lowly Melbourne was proof of just how good he was.
I also thin, correct me if I am wrong, but with Balic requesting a trade back home, due to illness, don't Fremantle get a concessional selection!!!As I said I may be wrong on this.
