Just noticed a few comments recently about not wanting to spend the extra coin on the top draftees of 2017.

The salary cap has gone up this year and the players prices have gone up accordingly. Players prices are around 100k more.

Brodie Grundy in 2016 averaged 100 and was worth $609, Laird in 2017 averaged 100 and is worth $707

Taylor Adams in 2016 averaged 102 and was worth $622, Menegola in 2017 averaged 102 and is worth $719

Okay so if you look at the value of the top draftee from 2016 .. Andrew McGrath $250,000

and the top draftee from 2017 ... Cam Rayner $270,000

That makes it only a difference of 20k

They still need to score well if they are in your starting lineup but they are certainly better value than they have been over the last couple of years.

On a side note .. how big is Sam Murray's head on AFL Fantasy compared to others  :o

They have too. Now he's a pinhead. Hope it doesn't affect his scoring.
