Colorado Avalanche 17.8.110 lost to Wisconsin Cockerals 20.12.132
(Real: 1648.75 lost to 1977.3)

You have to hand it to Colorado, they absolutely came to play early against the powerhouse Cockerals. Adam Cerra tied his career-best with 134, with all 4 starting Colorado defenders cracking triple figures. Even late inclusion Darcy Cameron raised the bat. However, the Avalanche were left to rue mistakes at the selection table, with the AFL omitted Ben Reid donning the substitute vest. A mistake which truly proved costly when Isaac Smith (4) was forced to play out the game despite injury. On the other side, it was a quiet night for Vice Captain Touk Miller, however Jack Macrae (183) more than made up for it as skipper. Max Gawn's absence was barely noticed as stand-in ruck Sean Darcy threw down a 139, and Dayne Zorko (163) put the icing on the cake.

Best
Colorado: Brayden Maynard, Adam Cerra, Robbie Tarrant, Zac Bailey, Sam Walsh, Brennan Cox, Peter Ladhams, Darcy Cameron
Wisconsin: Jack Macrae, Dayne Zorko, Mitch Duncan, Sean Darcy, Lachie Whitfield, Alex Witherden

Carolina Panthers 19.11.125 lost to Las Vegas Sinners 20.13.133
(Real: 1868.85 lost to 1993.15)

No sub? No worries! The Las Vegas train rolls on as the Jukercoach successfully pilots the Sinners with, let's face it, minimal effort. A very near 2000 score, which could have been much higher with nailed captaincy choices, James Harmes (32) playing like Hames Jarmes and, of course, a sub. Carolina would be happy with the continued resurgence of Luke McDonald (138), and got some big tons out of Bontempelli (138), Shiel (129) and Menegola (154), but too many passengers on this occassion.

Best
Carolina: Luke Ryan, Luke McDonald, Marcus Bontempelli, Dylan Shiel, Josh Kelly, Sam Menegola, Brodie Grundy
Las Vegas: Jake Lloyd, Tom Mitchell, Jarryd Lyons, Andrew McGrath, Tom Rockliff, Nic Naitanui, Christian Petracca, Zak Butters, Tim English, Nat Fyfe

San Francisco Grizzlies 13.20.98 lost to Quito Quetzals 19.9.123
(Real: 1475.6 lost to 1851.85)

Gee, Las Vegas may have got the Jukercoach, but San Fran is sadly stuck with regular old Jukes. When your sub scores 22 and still comes on, things aren't looking too good. Captain Taylor Adams (128) and Tom Stewart (100) were the only two active players to score hundreds, though were joined by Stephen Coniglio (105), who's bye was rudely interrupted. Quito were okay, but still a ways away from mixing it with the big boys. The side is clearly lacking a set and forget captaincy option, which Josh Dunkley provided through the back half of last year. Caleb Serong (82) steadying as favourite to take out the rising star.

Best
San Francisco: Taylor Adams, Tom Stewart, Stephen Coniglio
Quito: Nick Vlastuin, Nick Haynes, Callum Mills, Hugh McCluggage, Reilly O'Brien, Will Setterfield

Boston Terriers 20.7.127 def. Houston Bombers 16.6.102
(Real: 1899.5 def. 1524.6)

It goes without saying, but Boston won't lose many games when Lachie Neale (167) goes 150+, especially if he is to be joined by Rory 'Lachie Neale 2.0' Laird playing midfield time. Laird posted a ridiculous 185, and his role change has Boston right back in the hunt. Brodie Smith kicked mainly to Collingwood players, but it didn't stop him tonning with a 105. An injury to Jack Martin is the biggest concern for coach Cromas. For Houston, all three utilities were on the same page. Unfortunately, that page was rubbish scores in the 30s. Mitch Robinson (25) had his worst uninjured game in recent memory, but it wasn't enough to claim the red vest off Dan Butler (20). Ollie Wines (189) went the hard carry, but it was, well, a waste of time.

Best
Boston: Rory Laird, Brodie Smith, Lachie Neale, Dom Sheed, Todd Goldstein, Oscar McInerney
Houston: Jack Crisp, Ollie Wines, Marc Murphy

Chicago Sharks 19.8.122 def. Ottawa Otters 15.5.95
(Real: 1826.7 def. 1427.75)

Losing Ten Goal Tommy T Lynch to a hamstring injury was the biggest/only concern for Chicago in this one. Clayton Oliver slumped 68 points from his efforts last week, unfortunately for the Otters this was still a very healthy 137, plus armband attached. Andrew Brayshaw (150) sustained his killer form and superiority over his brothers. For Ottawa, not much went right, even captain Rowan Marshall (89) couldn't raise the bat as a solo ruck. Charlie Dixon was the only active Otter to ton, joined by Vice Captain Tim Taranto on his bye. Luke Davies-Uniacke (97) was one of few positives out of the heavy loss.

Best
Chicago: Clayton Oliver, Luke Parker, Elliot Yeo, Andrew Brayshaw, Jack Darling
Ottawa: Charlie Dixon, Tim Taranto

New Brooklyn Hawks 19.4.118 lost to Anaheim Mighty Ducks 19.7.121
(Real: 1773.6 lost to 1816.5)

Anaheim may cop (more than) their fair share of flack for the beloved old heads at the club, but they came through in this one! Travis Boak (129), David Mundy (104), Robbie Gray (133) and Tom Hawkins (126) may be on the wrong side of 30, but even a condensed fixture couldn't stop them turning it on. Anaheim would have also been very thankful Jordan Ridley (124), who copped a big knock last week, got the all clear for this week's match. Underwheming captain Jack Steele (86) and deputy Patrick Cripps (93) let one slip, but Lachie Ash's (54) parked at E1 for his bye was a bit of a headscratcher by the Hawks' coach. Another hamstring strain soured Tom Doedee's ton.

Best
New Brooklyn: Lachie Weller, Tom Doedee, Matt Crouch, Angus Brayshaw, Trent Dumont, Darcy Parish
Anaheim: Jordan Ridley, Zach Merrett, Patrick Dangerfield, Travis Boak, David Mundy, Robbie Gray, Tom Hawkins

I almost forgot the most exciting thing in this game, New Brooklyn passed on Jackson Thurlow's guaranteed 118 and it isn't an overstatement to say it cost them the game!
