hawk and hawka how many rucks do you want on your list though?  ::)
no with the sub rule its most likely that the back up ruck will be non-existent. id want 3-4 max plus hale.

Not everyone one your list is a "now" player. Some players are there for development. Ruckman take years to develop and clubs know this. Grimley and Lowden are there to play in 3-4 years time.

Not every player develops enough. Clubs also know this. That is why they have lists of up to 40 + rookie lists of around 10. That means 28 players not in your best 22.

There is no reason to get rid of them. They would be being paid beans compared to anyone in the 22 and they aren't forced to drop them by any AFL list management rule.

In 3-4 years time there will be no Skipper, Taylor, Hale will probably be done or be close to being done as well. That leaves us with Renouf and Bailey if we are lucky. So for backup we either have to trade to bring someone in and lose picks and/or desired players or we recruit and have to wait 5 years for them to develop to be capable at AFL level.

WEgota keep our 2 youngsters..fingers crossed for bailey.. taylor gone ..skipper wil play less games now could be a case of either 1 of hale and skipper being a sub and the other starting the game on the field
