I heard that Wrestlemania sucked :P. Also heard one match got dropped to be one for off air. That US Champ one.

Did you pay for it BP?

My source for NBA and WWE pay-per-views has been banned from Youtube for infringements :'(.

The card looked lacklustre. only match interesting off the card is Cena vs Miz and HHH vs Taker.

Fortunately no :P And I wouldn't say it sucked, it had some good matches but it just didn't feel like Wrestlemania. Yeah the US match was dropped, made a lumberjack match for the pre-show/DVD extra match, which turned into the usual "Let's give everyone a Wtestlemania payoff" Battle Royal which The Great Khali won

It's a sad day when an old wrestler retires.

EDGE has retired due to injury :'(. Gotta miss him and those old ladder and tag team matches.

Wow Edge has retired? Do you know what the injury was?
Yeah he was one of the more entertaining wrestlers, the hardcore matches with Mick Foley were awesome :D

Spinal injury. He had surgery a few years back but hurt himself last week when Spearing Clay or during his WM match. Had X-Ray and is said to be unable to wrestle again.

I'll see if I can find the link.

Less than a week after his successful title defense against Alberto Del Rio at WrestleMania XXVII, World Heavyweight Champion Edge has been forced to retire from in-ring competition due to injury. The unexpected news brings to an end a storied WWE career spanning 13 years and consisting of 11 World Title reigns.

The Rated-R Superstar had been suffering numbness and uncontrollable trembling in his arms and hands. This is not the first time Edge has experienced these symptoms of nueropraxia. An MRI in Atlanta last Monday was sent to Dr. Joseph Maroon, a renowned neurosurgeon and professor of neurosurgery at The Pittsburgh School of Medicine. After careful examination of the MRI, it was determined that Edge would never be cleared to compete again, and thus, he is forced to retire.

In 2003, Edge underwent a two level spinal fusion of the discs between his C5, C6 and C7 vertebrae. After being cleared to compete, The Rated-R Superstar returned to the ring, resulting in stenosis of the spine, or a narrowing of the spinal column, above and below the fused discs. This narrowing resulted in less and less of the vital fluid needed to protect the spinal cord. Medical professionals cannot clear Edge to compete ever again in WWE since doing so could result in paralysis or even death.

There is the statement by WWE. Sad really :'(. Neck and Spine related is right. Might stay with WWE but doubt he'd be doing any wrestling anymore.

Wow always sad when they have their careers cut short due to injury :(
I really liked Edge as a wrestler whether he was the heel or face.

Speaking of Stone Cold I was watching Tough Enough today, where he is the host. Pretty entertaining. The trainers are Booker T, Trish Stratus and Bill DeMott

I watched it on Saturday. Quite funny in parts. Looks alright.

It is sad. He said he could of had another 2 years but felt he could go for another 5. Really sad especially as it means 1 less from when they actually wrestled.
