Those crashes aren't any good for my fantasy team, but they do make the tour more interesting

they aren't hard to ride. the professionals have no spacers on the stem so they are lower down on the bike but for regular joes this would murder your back. clips take some getting used to... everyone forgets they are clipped in at least once.

you can get some decent starter road bikes for $1400. that one above was $4000 plus 650 for the Mavic Kysrium wheelset.

What happened last night..... :o

I can't believe this tour.... Wiggins, one night, then Vinikourov and Van den Brook another!!

Vladamir Karpets deliberately bumps Contador off his bike

A TV car knocks Flecha and Hoogerland off their bikes. Hoogerland goes flying into a barb wire fence.... A spectacular crash :o

Well done to both of them for getting back on their bikes and finishing the race today, but that driver shouldn't just be repremanded, he should be banned forever!!

The crazy thing is that Hoogerland is in his first tour, and now holds the King of the Mountains after being in the breakaway, but he probably won't be able to continue on Tuesday.... Take a look at this article...

Imagine if that had been a team car that caused the crash...they'd be talking about bans for the whole team. There's been enough crashes and main contenders abandoning without crowds and reporters getting in the way as well. Hoping Cadel can stay out of trouble...he's looking very good. Would be a shame if Hoogerland can't continue. Been in a few breakaways and doing really well for his first tour

I saw the Wiggins incident and such a shame as well. He really wanted to continue and his teammates were in waiting but just couldn't do it with his shoulder.

Last night was just :o for more crashed and more well-known riders to feel the brunt of the crashes >:(. The team car was ejected from the Tour De France and good reason >:(. Good on Hoogerland for continueing but nobody would have blamed him for pulling out after that crash into the barbs :o. Brave man to continue and lead the King Of The Mountain.

Contador has fallen quite a few times this year! Not sure why but he seems to draw crashes around him :-\.

He was either elbowed or headbutted from Vladamir Karpets

That would suck badly, coz Hoogerland knew what he was doing. Go in the breakaway every second day, win the points, then drop back to the peleton. I know he could've taken the yellow if he held on, stupid car, ruined everything for the young bloke.
