He was either elbowed or headbutted from Vladamir Karpets

Yeh the word is that something dodgy happened.

Cadel is in a really good spot at the moment. He is the man to beat, his looked really strong so far and he has been the aggresser on some of the earlier lesser climbs earlier in the tour. He obviously feels really good and want's to show everyone that.

How good is Gilbert going! He's so versatile! He has to be a great chance of the green guersey, particularly bc he can get over the mountains in reasonable time.

Gilbert is ranked inside top 10 overall at moment. Will obviously change once we hit bigger climbs but he's riding very well. Definately a great chance of holding green jersey. He's matching it with the best sprinters in the world on the flat finishes as well which is surprising a lot of people. Really hate contador but deliberately knocking someone off their bike is not on. Rather see him get beaten by Cadel and Schleks fairly :)

Goodbye Australian cricket

i love the fact that the news heaped praise on him for being the first from the southern hemisphere to win when for the most part there are not many top road cyclists from South America, Africa, Australia and NZ

tbh i think the massive praise coming his way now is underselling his prior efforts...

guy was already revered in the world of cycling...
