The English 15's

The English 15's is a virtual sports version of the newly and very fun games of World XV and Euro 15's comps that have been developed and run by Ossie and Holzman respectively.

The Breakdown

. 18 Teams
. Competitive matches allow you to pick a side of 15 players plus 3 emergencies
. The scoring is based on the Virtual Sports AFL Fantasy scoring
. The game includes - Drafts (each year): Rookie, National and Pre-season
                             - Trade period
                             - Weekly matches (run according to the AFL schedule)
                             - Finals comp



Scoring

The scoring will be worked according to fantasy points from Virtual Sports.


Roles

Head Coach - Coach your own team

Assistant Coach - Help out a head coach with things such as: Selections in drafts, team selections on a weekly basis and trading.


Team Structure

The team structure runs as follows:

Backs: *** , *** , *** , ***  - Four starting backs

Mids: ***, ***, ***, ***  - Four starting mids

Ruck: ***  - One starting ruck

Forwards: ***, ***, ***, ***  - Four starting forwards

Utilities: ***, ***  - Two starting utilities (These can be players from any position)

Emergencies: ***, ***, ***  - Three emergencies (From any position)

Captain: Double points
Vice - Captain:

Note:

1. You can choose to play a player out of position e.g. Gary Ablett as a forward. But if you do so you will only get half there score.

2. When a game is played at your home, your lowest scoring players score will be doubled.


Sacking

If you do not make contact within two weeks (unless discussed why with me) you will be sacked and replaced by another willing participant.


Tanking

It is fairly easy to judge if a player is tanking for draft picks or not. If anyone is caught tanking their first round draft pick for the national draft will be taken away from them.


Annual National Draft

1. 18th placed team on the ladder
2. 17th placed team on the ladder
.... and so on.
