Round 6

Nottingham gets the Free Pass this week.  Next week will be the last issue of a free pass.

and for the departing team

We had a tie between the Bradford Badgers and The Manchester Magic for the lowest score this week. I used a countback system and we say goodbye to Manchester Magic this week. Really bad luck for the Magic.

Remaining 12 Teams

Nottingham Hoods
Birmingham Bombers
Hastings Hurricanes
Newcastle Falcons
Swansea Breakers
Huddersfield Hawks
Winchester Warewolves
Staines Steins
Oxford Owls
Swindon Swaggers
Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs
Bradford Badgers

Bradford has scored more points than you this season.I would imagine that's all there is to it.

Should have qualified the system used.

This is the countback system being used in event of ties:
Countback system being used if Teams finish equal on AFL points.
1. Total Points scored before conversion
2. Total Points scored for season to date.
3. %

In this case both Badgers and Magic finished with 133.
They both had Total points of 1332
So going to next criteria - Bradford Badgers have scored 972 points and the Magic 896.  So the higher scoring team remains in the competition.

Was not really expecting to finish with identical points and having to go to next level.
