Like it!

Defence is the same as mine except I have Simpson instead of Enright. Dont see much upside in Enright although hes always solid.

Cant fault the midfield.

Ruck is a tad weak with Grundy in there. I dont see him averaging more than 85.

Forwards are great as well. Lock pav in mate. Im looking for a way to get him in as well

Thanks quinny, good to hear from you again. Hope the break has refreshed you.

Yes, I looked and Simpson too. Enwright standard deviation last year as 12 all around the 90s crazy! if he keeps that up I will be happy.
Grundland is a worry but have to take some risks. I have 140k in the bank so if upgrade grundy i can only get dixon, jacobs or lobbe really... that does't feel so good.

Be impeccable with your words and thoughts

I remember my first crack quite fondly.  :-*

Oh your team...

No real glaring weaknesses.

No really interesting POD's.

Safe and reliable with rookies to be determined I guess.

I would get NicNait in for Grundy as it is likely to save a trade or two later all being well.

Could save the extra dollars by getting Hurn instead of Enright?

I bet you do.

Yeah hurn is a decent idea. Nic nat for grundy is done in he gets up.
I know no interesting POD but once the rookies unearth them selves that is when it all changes.

Anyone rate Sheed and Michie this year?

Michie yes, Sheed TBC.

First crack lads:

McVeigh Mitchell Enright Suckling KK McDonald (Fuller Battersby)
Ablett Pendlebury Watson Beams Thomas Martin Sheed Michie (M.Crouch Dunstan)
Grundy Sandy (R.Lobb Nankervis)
Dangerfield Martin Buddy Pav Caddy Taylor (Garlett JKH)

What do you think? Please rate out of 10.

Looks pretty solid, I would hold onto that 145k as I think you may be spending it pretty quickly if some of your rooks don't get up round 1. Garlett Taylor Crouch and Battersby all worry me. Enright I understand why you're picking him but he won't be in the top 6 and outside chance to even make top 10. Going for league this is fine, going for overall I think you'll need someone else (and agree Hurn is worth a look).

After some NABs:

McVeigh Mitchell Enright Suckling KK McDonald (Laidler Georgiou)
Ablett Pendlebury Watson Beams Thomas Elis Sheed Polec (Michie Dunstan)
Leuy Sandy (Thurlow Derickx)
Dangerfield Martin Buddy Pav Rohan Blease (Impey JKH)

Thoughts on the rooks?

KK hasn't been playing with a hamstring issue, so I would not start him. Simple fix based on that team, move Laidler onto field and bring in a cheapie (Langford, Cutler, Clurey etc)

I'm a WCE supporter, and I am not starting Sheed, plus Michie on bench is too much, so again I would move Michie on field and turn Sheed into a cheaper rookie who gets named rd1

Doubt Impey will get games but that spot can be filled with any rookie who gets named

Really like the look of that mate, about as close as you can get to an excellent starting side

I have since seen Horses comments about Laidler and am now doubting him as an option, so that is the only concern I have, everything else looks awesome

McVeigh Mitchell Enright Suckling Laidler McDonald (Langford Georgiou)
Ablett Pendlebury Watson Beams Thomas Elis Polec Michie (Robertson Dunstan)
Leuy Sandy (Thurlow Derickx)
Dangerfield Martin Buddy Pav Higgins Rohan (Blease JKH)

BOLD = Keeping all year. 14 in total.

Rip it apart lads.
Is Watson a risk, do you think Cotchin is a safer pick?
Laidler at D5 worries me. Open to suggestions?

McVeigh a little bit too expensive for my liking.
Laidler is a massive risk so I'm deciding against it.
Cotchin and/or Murphy a reliable option.

Glad to see im not the only one with Enright.

Current team
McVeigh Mitchell Simpson Suckling McDonald Langdon (Laidler Langford)
Ablett Pendlebury Cotchin Beams Thomas Elis Polec Dunstan (Cunningham Michie)
Sandy Hickey (Thurlow Derickx)
Dangerfield Martin Roughead Parker Higgins Rohan (McDough JKH)

ok lads after some advice this week. Bad start rank of 40k.

I have 171k in bank.

Trade options this week:
A. Suckling > Swallow, Cotchin > Watson
B. Suckling > Swallow, Michie > Tyson
C. Suckling > Swallow, McDough > Ambrose
D. Thomas > Murphy
E. Mitchell > Swallow, Rohan > Zorko
F. Mitchell > Swallow, Thomas > watson
G. McDough > Ambrose, Michie > Tyson

Really not sure where to go this week. Some of the above feel sideways but improve my team.

Any advice guys?
