Anyone think the English selectors may be a little bit open to getting KP in for the World Cup?

"England squad in turmoil"
"It is rumoured that a terrible bug has run through the English camp. Allegedly it was picked up on the tour of Sri Lanka, with the following players suffering from a new disease that is yet to be clarified. Alastair Cook, James Taylor, Steven Finn and Chris Jordan. It is unknown on the return dates of these players, but they will be missing the World Cup. England have asked for special permission to select a player from outside the squad of 30, and it can be confirmed that replacing them are the following: Gary Ballance, Harry Guerny, Ryan Sidebottom and Kevin Pietersen"

292 so far. Ludeman, KP good, Laughlin decent but captain Maxwell, Beer, White and Faulkner all need a big 2nd game for me

Clive Rose Platinum duck,  :o
The official word by Wikipedia is actually a Diamond Duck  :o. A platinum duck is a batsman who is out on the first ball of an innings :P.

At our club a 'Royal Duck' is getting a golden duck on the 3rd wicket of a hatrick haha... Which I know... It's happened to me before.

Most wickets on the third ball of a hattrick are golden ducks :P

Hurricanes squad: Bailey, Paine, Birt, Boyce, Doherty, Dunk, Gulbis, Hales, Hilfy, Mennie, Sammy, Van der Gugten, Wells

Who will miss from that lot? Not familiar with some of the players named there.

Might be a bowler short, Wells might miss instead of Mennie.

Hmmm ok. Hilfenhaus would be the number one strike bowler there? He looks tempting, at only $58k. So does Doherty at $34k

For those that have missed it, here are the 13 man squads for tonight:
Renegades: Aaron Finch, Ben Rohrer, Matthew Wade (WK), Tom Cooper, Dwayne Bravo, Andre Russell, Andrew Fekete, Nathan Rimmington, Peter Siddle, Callum Ferguson, Fawad Ahmed, Matthew Short, Nick Winter

Sixers: Moises Henriques, Sean Abbott, Doug Bollinger, Ryan Carters (WK), Ed Cowan, Luke Doran, Ben Dwarshuis, Simon Keen, Brett Lee, Michael Lumb, Nic Maddinson, Jordan Silk

So the Renegades look to have only 6 bowlers, which means Fekete could be in for overs, possible option down at $38k. The Sixers have also got 6, not sure on Abbott's batting abaility but he is named as an AR, I'm thinking of picking him as a bowler only, $50k
